Welcome
The Raphoe Diocesan Pastoral Centre is a place of welcome for all people. It serves as a resource for all individuals, families and communities through support services and educational programmes. This website outlines the services offered all year round. The main areas are: Counselling, Family and Bereavement Care, Pastoral Development, Support Services, Support Groups, Personal Development, Mental Health support, Education and Diocesan faith programmes. The Centre offers one-to-one counselling to individuals and to avail of an appointment please contact the Centre directly. On occasion the Centre will have a waiting list due to the large numbers of clients seeking therapy. However, we endeavor to keep the waiting period for counselling to a minimum. Counselling for young people aged 5 -17 years is also offered through the Centre and waiting times also apply.
Rainbows programmes run each autumn/winter for 10 weeks. This programme is for children experiencing loss through bereavement or separation. If you are interested in having your child attend the Rainbows Programme you must complete an application form in good time so as to be guaranteed a place. We currently have a waiting list for this service and are trying to get a course programme running soon.
The Raphoe Diocesan Pastoral Centre is under the patronage of most Rev. Alan McGuckian, SJ, Bishop of Raphoe. The Pastoral Centre works in partnership with the Child and Family Agency, Tusla, the Donegal Education Training Board, the Department of Social Protection, and Donegal County Council.
You are most welcome to visit or phone the Centre should you require more help or information. Please see How to Find Us
