... it doesn't need to hurt forever.Rainbows Bereavement Care is a support programme for children/young people:
Rainbows offers a service for children from 6 - 13 years of age. Spectrum offers a service for teenagers.
When a family member dies or separation occurs, not only do the parents grieve, the children do also. However, children find it extremely difficult to verbalize their feelings because of their age and short life experience. For this reason they have sometimes been called "the forgotten grievers."
Rainbows is a 9 Week Support Programme which offers the children peer support, a warm relaxed atmosphere, trained caring adults, and the use of art and play, an opportunity for children to express their feelings. The Rainbows programme commences: Autumn 2022, please keep an eye for more details to follow.
This programme is free for all.
